part-time courses

On a part-time course you spend the same number of hours on your course as a full time student, but spread over a longer period, so studying takes up fewer hours each week. Because part-time courses are less intensive, they often have more flexible entry requirements.

Many courses are available part time. Some are specifically designed as part-time courses, while for others you would attend some sessions with full-time students.

Applications for part-time courses are usually made directly to the university or college running the course. Details of how to apply can be found in the course prospectus or on the university or college’s website. Deadlines for application to part-time courses vary from one institution to another, so do remember to check with the course provider.
